Overview:

This position serves on the Fillmore RD noxious weed treatment crew. most days are spent treating and documenting Noxious weed infestations on the Fillmore Ranger District. Candidate should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, traveling on mountain roads and operating ATV and UTV.

Responsibilities:

Treating noxious weed infestation using all available methods, including: chemical, hand, biological. All treatment sites must be documented. The candidate must be able to understand basic smart phone technology. Range Technician Intern all agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Driver License
  • Utah Pesticide Applicator License (may be obtained after initial employment)

Special Instructions:

State Pesticide Application certification required after initial employment.
